Aquatic and Terrestrial Wildlife Studies
Spring Rivers has extensive experience conducting biological surveys, assessments, and long-term monitoring on many aquatic, semi-aquatic, and terrestrial species. We monitor species populations through visual surveys, mark-recapture, electrofishing, and eDNA analyses.
Spring Rivers has MOUs to study and handle special status species including Shasta crayfish, rough sculpin, and Shasta salamander.
Environmental and Biophysical Assessments
Spring Rivers has experience in biophysical assessments and monitoring of riverine systems including laser surveying and mapping, sediment and woody debris, vegetation, and water quality monitoring.
Spring Rivers is also experienced in conducting wetland delineations.
Recreation Interpretation and Monitoring
Spring Rivers has been involved in recreation use monitoring studies, interpretive sign development, project security and patrol, and education.
