Biological Studies & Surveys

Aquatic and Terrestrial Wildlife Studies
Spring Rivers has extensive experience conducting biological surveys, assessments, and long-term monitoring on many aquatic, semi-aquatic and terrestrial species.  We monitor species populations through visual surveys, mark-recapture, and eDNA analyses.

Spring Rivers holds state and federal permits and MOUs to study and handle special status species including Shasta crayfish, rough sculpin, foothill yellow-legged frog, northern western pond turtle, and Shasta salamander.

Physical & Hydrological Assessments

Environmental and Biophysical Assessments
Spring Rivers has experience in biophysical assessments and monitoring of riverine systems including laser surveying and mapping, sediment and woody debris, vegetation, and water quality.

Recreation & Public

Recreation Interpretation and Monitoring

Spring Rivers has been involved in recreation use monitoring studies, interpretive sign development, project security and patrol, and education.
